To become involved you need to register with SQMAS by completing an initial application form or email enquiries@sqmas.com stating which option you would prefer. Your organisation will then be invoiced for the application fee (basic rate) or additional days as required.
Upon receipt of application fee all relevant SQMAS documents (templates and guidance document) will be sent to the company along with a copy of the SQMAS Standard.
Once the company has completed the relevant SQMAS documents these are returned to enquiries@sqmas.com to be reviewed prior to inspection. If there are any changes or amendments to be made to the SQMAS documents these will be notified to the customer in order that necessary changes can be made before being returned to SQMAS for approval.
An organisation can request additional days' support at any time during the duration of implementation. This is invoiced one the work has been undertaken.
Once the documents have been reviewed and approved an application form will be sent out to the company to arrange an inspection.
Once the application form has been completed by the company this is returned to SQMAS to arrange the inspection date with the Inspection Body.
Successful organisations can use the SQMAS logo on their stationery, web site and other marketing materials including vehicles.
Organisations will be notified three months prior to the approval date on the certificate to remind them of their annual re-inspection. There is a £95 annual cost to process the re-inspection. Documents will be reviewed off site as part of this cost.
Additional on-site support can be requested at any time to maintain the QMS. Support includes updating documents and completing monitoring checks / internal audits.
